At PanoPress, privacy is foundational. This policy explains exactly how your data is handled across all tools—including PanoLite, the Previewer, and Exif Fixer—ensuring full transparency about what’s stored (nothing) versus what’s processed (locally).
Key Guarantee: Unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., uploads to the Previewer), all processing happens entirely in your browser. Your images, tours, and metadata are never transmitted over the internet or stored on any server.
1. No Data Collection for Browser-Based Tools
Tools like PanoLite, Cubed, and Virtual Staging Demo use pure client-side JavaScript (no backend). When you create a tour or adjust wall colors:
- Your 360° images are loaded into browser memory only.
- All masking, stitching, and metadata operations occur locally.
- No data is sent to PanoPress servers at any time.
2. Temporary Uploads (Previewer Tool)
The PanoPress Previewer allows you to upload your own 360° images for immediate interactive viewing. For this feature:
• Images are stored temporarily on secure servers for 24 hours only.
• After 24 hours, all uploaded files and associated metadata are permanently deleted.
• No copies, backups, or derivatives of your images are retained.
3. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies
PanoPress uses Google AdSense to serve non-intrusive advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies to deliver ads based on your prior visits to PanoPress or other websites.
4. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with PanoPress and improve tools like PanoLite. Collected data includes:
- Pages visited, session duration, browser type
- General geographic location (country/city level only)
- Device type and screen resolution
• All data is anonymized and aggregated.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or stored.
• You can disable Google Analytics via browser extensions like
Google Analytics Opt-Out.
5. Log Files & Security
Standard web server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) are collected by our hosting provider for security and performance monitoring only. These logs:
- Are retained for ≤ 30 days
- Are never linked to individual users or uploaded content
- Are protected by industry-standard encryption (TLS)
